Dated and signed on the reverse by the artist. At the time of this carving, Juliet was just 14 years old, living in.

This piece represents a wonderful example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, likely created as a high-level manual arts project or a commissioned gift. Solid Quarter-Sawn Oak with a rich, original dark wood stain. Features intricate, hand-carved floral/scroll motifs on the folding ends.

Two hinged ends that fold flat for storage. The base slides smoothly to adjust for different book collection sizes. Hand-signed and dated "1914" on the back by Juliet Lindskog of Omaha, NE.
